  • The object of this game is to roll two dice and drop the paddles down according to the number accumulated on the dice. You may drop down multiple paddles to achieve this. Once the 7, 8, & 9 paddles have been dropped, you may roll just one die if you choose. If you are able to drop all tiles, you will reveal the words "Shut the Box!" You may then emphatically shut the box and claim victory for that game. The opponent may not roll again. If you run out of options, what ever paddles are left get counted up and that is your round/game score. The next player must attempt to beat that score. You may play individual games or determine a set amount and play towards a rolling tally. In this case, your remaining score would be counted towards a player decided amount. The first to reach that amount would lose. The object is to have the lowest score.

Rolling doubles: if you are out of moves but have rolled doubles, you may roll again. If you roll snake eyes (1 & 1) back to back, you automatically lose that game/round and all tiles are flipped back to the starting position. If playing a rolling tally, the sum of all paddles will be added to your score.
